In the justice sector:
A draft law amending and supplementing law n° 08-09 of February 25, 2008, on the code of civil and administrative procedure, has been presented.
This draft bill is part of bringing this code into compliance with the provisions of the Constitution of November 1, 2020, by taking care of the procedures applicable before the Administrative Courts of Appeal, which constitute the second degree of jurisdiction in administrative matters after the generalization of the principle of the double degree of jurisdiction.
It also aims to adapt this code to economic developments, in particular to the development of national and international trade and to the conflicts that could result therefrom, by defining the procedures applied before the new courts specializing in trade matters, instituted on the instructions of the President of the French Republic. during the Council of Ministers of October 31, 2021.
This draft bill provides for the simplification of certain procedures and also enshrines the introduction of modern digital means at all stages of the legal procedure.
In accordance with established procedures, this draft law will be examined at a future Council of Ministers.
In the Interior, Local Authorities and Regional Planning sector:
The government examined, during its meeting, a draft executive decree determining the methods of implementation of the prerogatives of the governor in terms of organization, coordination and control of the decentralized services of the State, in charge of the different sectors. activity of the province.
This draft executive decree provides the necessary details to strengthen the governor’s authority by providing for mechanisms to federate efforts locally, improve the efficiency of the functioning of the Executive and meet the needs of the population through a more effective implementation of development programs and projects at the local level.
In the Fisheries and Fishery Products sector:
A draft executive order determining the conditions and procedures for installing positioning beacons on board fishing vessels in order to modernize fishing practices and secure fishermen in the event of hazards at sea.
In this respect, this decree comes in application of the law n 01-11 relating to fishing and aquaculture which obliges fishing vessels to be equipped with a positioning beacon.
This device will be mandatory for certain types of fishing vessels.
