Voyager Adds On Board Before Admission to Aquis – Daily Business

Voyager, the health and wellness company established to provide cannabidiol (CBD) and hemp seed oils, has appointed Jill overland and Nikki cooper as non-executive directors and Mark Underwood as sales manager.

The appointments precede the Perth-based firm’s admission to the Aquis growth market in June.

Ms. Overland has over 25 years of experience in financial leadership roles and is currently responsible for finance and corporate services at Cuadrilla. Previously, she was responsible for the finances of BHP Petroleum’s business unit in the UK and Algeria.

Ms. Cooper is a Qualified Lawyer and Chartered Corporate Secretary, whose career to date has spanned several roles including General Counsel at Ora Capital Partners and Corporate Finance at N + 1 Brewin .

She created her own brand of health supplements, Inner Me Limited, following her diagnosis of multiple sclerosis in 2009.

The brand has successfully entered major retailers including Boots, Holland and Barrett, Selfridges, Ocado and on the free-to-air shopping channel QVC.

Mr Underwood has spent most of his career implementing sales strategies for several blue chip companies and most recently was UK Sales Director at a company in the health and wellness sector, specialized in the CBD market.

His tenure included implementing key sales strategies and distribution partnerships with companies such as Boots, Lloyds Pharmacy, AAH, Selfridges and several large health food wholesalers, as well as managing UK exports.

In February, Voyager raised £ 874,000 through an oversubscribed crowdfunding campaign on Seedrs, and in April 2021, an additional £ 741,000 through private fundraising, including a £ 100,000 pledge from Greencare Capital, the company of Aquis-listed investment focused on medical cannabis related fields.
